Your privacy choices

What we collect

Your account, and what you did in the app: which tasks you finished, how the cards went, where your levels sit. That's the part the product is made of. Without it there's no spaced repetition, because there's nothing to space.

Two outside services also see some of it. One records crashes so bugs get found. One records product analytics so it's possible to tell which parts of the app people actually finish. The privacy policy names both and says what each one gets.

What we don't do

We don't sell it. We don't rent it. We don't hand it to advertisers or brokers, and there is no advertising in the app to hand it to.

There's no third-party ad SDK in the build, which is the kind of claim you can check rather than take on faith: the credits page lists everything the app is built from.

Turning the tracking off

The app doesn't yet have a privacy switch. Device analytics are off for learners under sixteen and when no date of birth is available. Crash reporting and server-side product events follow separate rules.

On this website, Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control and a saved opt-out stop product analytics. Those browser choices don't change the app's settings.

Getting your data deleted

Deleting your account deletes what's attached to it. The delete-account page walks through what happens and how long it takes.

You can also just ask. Mail privacy@yapzee.ai and say what you want removed.

If you're in California, the EU or the UK

Those laws give you the right to see what's held, get a copy, have it corrected and have it deleted. We'll do all four on request, whether or not the law currently obliges us to. Write to privacy@yapzee.ai.

We're not going to pretend to a compliance programme we haven't built. The privacy policy is blunt about which regimes apply and which don't, and it's the document to read if you want the detail.
